Announcements:

I hope this email finds everyone enjoying their fall break and getting some much needed rest!
We will be back in action beginning tomorrow night!
The Williams Sausage order will be ready for pick-up TOMORROW NIGHT @ 5:30 at the top of the gym. All orders MUST be picked up then to prevent them from thawing out and ruining. If your student drives they will need to bring a cooler with them or you will need to pick-up and deliver their order for them as we do not have the freezer space to store all of the orders until the end of rehearsal.
We have rehearsal TOMORROW NIGHT from 6-9 pm! This rehearsal is MANDATORY! We will be both rehearsing the show along with preparing for the parade on Saturday.
SENIOR STATE SCHOLARSHIPS MUST BE POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN THIS FRIDAY, OCTOBER 6TH!
Friday night the football team travels to Union City @7! The band will NOT travel to this game due to it being UC's homecoming and we would not be allowed to perform.
The Davy Crockett Parade is THIS SATURDAY in Rutherford! This is a MANDATORY performance grade for all marching band members! The parade will begin @ 2:00. We will meet in the vacant parking lot just to the east of Rutherford School at 1:15. The attire for the parade will be khaki shorts, polos (TUCKED IN!), and tennis shoes. We will not take buses to the parade so all students will be responsible for getting his/her equipment to/from the parade along with providing their own transportation. The band room will be open from 12:30 until 1:00 for students to pick up their equipment and will be open again immediately following the parade for ~30 minutes for students to bring his/her equipment back to the band room.

Upcoming Dates:

We will be back on regular rehearsal schedule next week! All brass players will have sectionals with Mr. Agee on Monday.
Monday, October 9th - Band Booster Meeting - 7:00 pm - Band Room
Friday, October 13th - FB @ Trinity - 7:00 pm - We WILL travel to this game! Departure time will be included in next week's announcements.
Saturday, October 14th - Hornet Marching Invitational - We will meet early afternoon for rehearsal/departure to this competition. Exact details will be in next week's announcements.
