Remember each student is asked to try and sell at least 3 tickets!
We began selling cases of 24 oz. bottles of Pepsi products this past week to help pay for additional uniforms (~$8000) we have had to purchase for next year. All orders and money are due May 7. Pick-up will be May 21 from 3-5 p.m. in the back parking lot of GC. Each student is asked to sell at least 5 cases or get $30 in donations to help us cover the uniform costs!
We have parade band rehearsals BOTH TUESDAY AND THURSDAY this week from 3-5! Rehearsals are mandatory and students MUST have a doctor's note or emergency in order to be excused from a rehearsal. Students will be allowed to take home their uniforms at the end of Thursday's rehearsal.
All non-concert band members MUST play the parade tune memorized on Tuesday. All concert band members MUST play Amazing Grace memorizedTuesday!

If students are riding the bus to the game, they will meet at the school at 5:30 for departure. Students driving or riding with parents will need to meet at the ball park no later than 6:20. We are still waiting to hear from the Jackson Generals as to exactly where to meet. Students will be free to leave or go and sit with friends/family after the anthem is played. See above info as to how parents, family and friends can support the band by purchasing a ticket!
Saturday is the Teapot Parade in Trenton, The parade begins at 10 a.m. All band members will meet at Peabody Place Apartments at 9:15dressed in full uniform (uniforms will be sent home after Thursday's practice). Being on time is part of the student's performance grade for the nine weeks so expect heavy traffic in the area and be sure students are on time! Mr. Tate will be at the band room from 8:30-9:00 for students to pick up larger instruments or get anything they may have forgotten. He will return to the band room for ~30 minutes immediately following the parade.
