Announcements:
Thanks to all those who came this past Friday or Saturday and supported the color guard at their yard sale!
We are a little over a week away from the first June rehearsal, a little over 2 months away from our first public performance, and a little over 3 months away from our first competition! I hope your student has been practicing! We go by the saying that we will only be as STRONG as our weakest link so PRACTICE...PRACTICE...PRACTICE!!! In band we don't have a 2nd and 3rd string. EVERYONE STARTS EVERY TIME WE TAKE THE FIELD!
Our first band booster meeting of the year will take place next Monday night (13th) at 7:00 pm in the library! I hope that many of you plan to attend so you can get plugged in to be a part of this great organization!
We will begin selling fresh Georgia Peaches and Boston Butts (for the 4th of July) at next week's June rehearsal! Begin asking your family, friends, and co-workers if they are interested in purchasing some of these items to help support the band! Order forms, quantities, and pricing will be included in next week's announcements.
Stay up-to-date with what's going on by visiting the band's website at http://gchsmarchingpioneers.org! You can always find helpful practice tools, forms, the latest rehearsal/performance information, and much more here!
If you haven't signed up for the remind text message service, it's not too late! You can do so today. Check out the homepage on the band's website for instructions on how to get signed up!
